Macbach is a healthcare-only growth practice. Founded in 2007. Headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL since 2010. Our oldest active client signed in 2008 and is still with us. We work small on purpose; we're never trying to be the biggest agency in the space, just the best one for a small group of practices we know personally.

Here's how we think about the work.

Healthcare is different Patients don't buy healthcare like they buy a sweatshirt. The decision is high-stakes, often urgent, often emotional, often deferred. Search is the first move; word-of-mouth is the second; the visible signals on the practice's GBP and website determine whether the search-and-word-of-mouth funnels actually convert. Most generalist marketing agencies optimize for click-through rate. We optimize for the cost-per-actual-patient that walks through the door and becomes a long-term relationship.

Channels compound differently

  • Local search (MapsPRO) is the foundation. It pays back in months and keeps paying as long as the profile is maintained.
  • Organic search (RankPRO) is the moat. It pays back over 12-18 months and then keeps paying for years. Content written today is still pulling traffic three years out.
  • Paid acquisition (AdsPRO) is the gap-filler. It pays back this week. It also stops paying back the moment the budget stops.
  • Practice site (SitePRO) is the conversion infrastructure underneath all three. A great paid campaign sends traffic to a slow, broken site and the math doesn't work.

We sequence the channels deliberately. New clients almost always start with MapsPRO + a SitePRO refresh. Once the local foundation is healthy, we layer organic. Paid is added when the practice has clear capacity and a specific volume goal. The agencies that lead with paid for everyone are running an investment timeline that doesn't favor the practice; it favors their fee.

We don't do upsell ladders Every Macbach product is priced for the actual work. If you only need MapsPRO, you only pay for MapsPRO. We will not bundle you into a "premium" tier. We will tell you when a service we offer would help, and we'll tell you when one wouldn't.

We work small The team that signs you is the team that does your work. There's no junior pool that takes over after the kickoff call. We cap our active roster well below what our capacity could technically handle so each client gets review attention from senior people every single Friday.

Reporting is written, not dashboard'd Once a month you get a written report. Three pages. From the person who did the work. What moved, what didn't, what we're doing next. If you want a dashboard too, we'll set one up. But the dashboard is not the report. The dashboard tells you the numbers; the report tells you what they mean.

The longest-active client signed in 2008 That's the standard. Not "average client tenure 14 months." Multi-year, multi-decade relationships, where the practice has gone from one physician and one location to multiple of each. The work compounds because we don't churn through it.
